Synopsis:
In the woods of Whisper, Georgia, two bodies are found: one recently dead, the other decayed from a decade of exposure to the elements. My thoughts:
This was the first book I read by Amanda K Williams, I have not read the two previous Keye Street Books, but I didn’t feel like I’m missing some or got confused. It reads great as a stand alone.
If you have issues with child abduction, rape and murder I advise to be cautious with this book. It has all those things in it.
I absolutely loved this book; it was a bone chilling, fast paced, scary crime fiction thriller.
I loved Keye Street , her character was strong and yet had her flaws that she struggles with on a daily basis. She was easy to relate. She also had a dry humor site that I liked.
The story itself is great even with the dark nature of it, there were a few times, I just had to put it down and take a breather and step away from it for a while.
The ending was a great ending; it fit in with the entire book of twist and turns.
I for sure will buy and read the next book Amanda Kyle Williams.
Overall I give this book a full 5★
