Synopsis:

Injured and discharged, Marine Levi Haywood has returned to his family’s ranch to heal and start a new life. After all, once a cowboy, always a cowboy. The only problem? My thoughts:
Having read the previous two books of the Paint River Ranch series and some other books by Elizabeth Otto I was looking forward to this book.
I can’t say that I was disappointed, I really enjoyed this book. The story and its characters.
In this third book we finally get to meet and to get to know better Levi. Like his brothers he is very charming and a cowboy through and through, on top of that he is a Marine. What more can we ask for?
He is stubborn and meets his match with Carrie. He also is still dealing with his war injuries, mentally and physical. But that won’t stop him to help out on the ranch and take on another major project to safe Carrie’s family ranch.
