Tyler & Stella - Heidi Joy Tretheway

Synopsis:

Stella Ramsey always says bad boys can’t break your heart. They don’t call, don’t cuddle and don’t send flowers—but what do you expect? No strings means no regrets.

When the biggest story of her fledgling music journalism career nearly ruins her relationship with her best friend, Stella has one chance to redeem herself. She promises the bassist for the rock band Tattoo Thief anything in exchange for behind-the-scenes access. But Tyler doesn’t want anything. He wants everything—and that’s more than Stella is prepared to give.

When Tyler’s explosive secret thrusts Stella into the media spotlight, she must choose between selling the story and telling the truth—and exposing the truth about herself.

My thoughts:

I really liked the first book Tattoo Thief but I like this one even better. I liked everything about this book, its characters, story, world building just everything also like that we got a closer look at the band and how they are with each other. Since we didn’t get a lot of that in the last book.

Like I said in my last review about Tattoo Thief, I didn’t care much for Stella but this book made me like her.. a lot.  That doesn’t excuse the things she done but forgiven and even a little understood from where she stood.

I really did learn to like her, the more I got to know of her and her past , flaws and all. Though she had a few moments in the book where she deserved a nice “wake up “shake.

She really grew into her new role even if she didn’t know yet, what the role is. I felt bad for her when dealing with all the paparazzi but she did great.

Tyler, man what can I say about Tyler? He was a little confusing at first just by his action but that changed. I really did enjoy him and his story. You just can't help yourself and love him.

We met Violet in this book and I like her already and I cannot wait to read the next book about her and Jayce. Who is also an interesting character who seems to be a playboy through and through , but I have a feeling there is much more to him.

Overall, I couldn’t put his book down and finished it in one sitting and I rate it at 4 ½
